UI design

Ecommerce Store

I implemented a design system for the website that ensured Imprint Plus' messaging and visual design was consistent in the new and redesigned pages.

Beyond web pages, I also provided feedback on design changes and brainstorming sessions for blog pages, landing pages, badge design application, and other miscellaneous changes. I did this by observing user behaviour on Hotjar to guide changes and improvements to our website.

I was responsible for creating mockups and wire frames for new industry landing pages, B2B login pages and our Design Studio.

digital design

Banners, icons, ads and everything in between

I create all the digital collateral ranging from monthly/seasonal website banners, social media posts and ads, Google and Bing display ads and other images to showcase products on stock images. All design tasks on the digital domain were my responsibility and I would lead projects from conception to completion every month. Additionally, I was responsible for redesigning website sections with new images, forms and icons..

Products, people, and more

I helped establish image standards for social media posts, display ads, product photos, industry focused imagery and other visual assets created to be shared externally.

Web Experience

Design & Print Pop-Up

Problem: Users were uploading incorrect and poor quality logos which caused poor quality prints on name badge inserts or in some cases a road block in printing new badges for customers.

Process: I identified the requirements of the files that can produce high quality printing on printers. This included defining file format requirements that print as the user intends on their designs i.e. no white backgrounds on logos. I then worked with stakeholders to identify the optimum placement for our solution. We agreed on a detailed pop-up that communicated all this information

Solution: I implemented a pop-up that appears when a user chooses to upload their artwork on to the designer. The pop up clearly displays the format requirements, maximum file size, a preview of how they will print and how our production team will print them if they chose for us to print the insert labels for them. It also showed progress of any file uploads.

Results: The pop-up was successful in ensuring users were uploading proper type of files that in turn provided them high quality prints for their products.

More Web Improvement Projects

I worked on numerous projects to fine tune, improve and change the experience of the Imprint Plus online store. The projects ranged from improving industry landing page layouts, adding features to upsell, improving the UX of our corporate clients using our Portal's and improving on our existing features using data from Hotjar and feedback from clients and sales team.
These projects were a collaborative effort and involved input from Imprint Plus team members and external developers. I was the sole designer on these projects taking them from lowfdelity mock ups to interactive prototypes.
